Secondary Audience research

As part of my audience research I have decided to search for videos in youtube related to my genre and check the statistics for whether more males between the ages of 18 and 25 watch this particular video. I have decided to do this for several videos so I don't just get a lucky video I was more precise results.
The first song I am looking over is shinedown "If you only knew" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xY0HCKOmrW0&ob=av2n)
The statistics for this were as follows.

This clearly shows that more older people like this sort of music considering that both male and females between 45 and 54 like this song.

Due to the fact that I want to be sure that it is just one shinedown song that is popular with older people I have chosen a more rock song by the same band. The song I have chosen is Shinedown "Sound of madness" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGt-8adyabk&feature=related
The results are as followed.

Again clearly the band shinedown is most popular with males between 35 and 54. Both songs have also been popular with females between 13-17. This is part of my target audience however I wanted a song that perhaps people between 18-25 enjoyed also.

As I know my genre choice is rock/heavy metal I have decided to have a look at some system of a down songs. The first one I am going to take a look as is "Toxicity" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJmt3dr9XYQ
The results are as followed.

Again it seems to me as more males enjoy this music rather than females I don't know whether it is because it is an all male rock band and perhaps they prefer more girl rock bands. Therefore I decided to do a song to see if more females enjoy girl rock bands prefer this.

The next song I am going to do if Paramore "Misery Business" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCyGvGEtOwc&ob=av2e
The results are as followed.
As I predicted more females do like this band. I think after seeing the statistics I have decided to stick with a rock boy band rock despite the fact not many females like it.
